She had two twin childrens with her husband Vikas Thapar named Jai and Vir Thapar. Namita stated in “The Kapil Sharma Show” that she is a huge fan of bollywood films and her favourite bollywood star is Amitabh Bachchan and her son’s name is inspired by the cult classic Bollywood film “Sholay”.

Namita did her UG from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Maharashtra and later she completed her studies in Chartered Accountants from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
